KAIIOTC. (From Our Own Correspondent). A shooting competition for a trophy presented by Capt. J. A. Colmer was held at the local range on Saturday last. Whilst Messrs Hall and Oldham were driving to Pungarehn. when opposite flilhoolcy's they met a motor car, driven hy Mr Chancy, of New Plymouth, which collided with them, with the remit, that their horse and trap was capsized, and they were thrown to the ground. They fortunately escaped with a few scratches, but the trap was considerably damaged. The motor car had to have some repairs made before it could return to town.
