MINISTERIAL PRESSURE OF WORK.

Per Press Association. Wellington, Friday. The Premier, speaking to an interviewer on the subject of the pressure of work on Ministers, said that sooner or later the question of an increase in the number of Ministers would have to' be faced. During the last twelve or' fourteen years some twenty new departments had been added to the public service, and the work of Ministers had been quadrupled. He had no intention of adding to the number immediately, but the matter would have to be considered soon.
