A. Holding; recitation, "Tim Hooligans Mare," Private .Stokes; song, "Simon the Cellarer," Mr cle la llayc' son),', "Mona," Mr Colbeck; song, Mr Staples; song, "Davy Jones,'' Mr Harris (encore "The Old Brigade"); song, 'The Old Folks at Home," Mr do la Haye. The No. 2 section, whose members were distinguished by the scarlet uniform, carried out the duties of hosts in excellent style under Sergeant J. Clarke, those present especially appreciating the management of the commissariat de-
partment. Altogether, a very enjoyable and useful evening was spent. Just, before "lights out," Captain Bellringer thanked the members of the company for attending in such huge numbers, and especially No. 2 section for the excellent arrangements made. Personally, he had spent a most enjoyable evening. These functions, he hoped, would attain the ends for which Ihey wer c inaugurated, namely, to enable the members to become better acquainted with one another, and to popularise the company and to increase the attendance on parade. He concluded by thanking those who lud eontributcd to the pro-
gramme. "God Mave the King" and "Auld Lang Sync" concluded the gathering.
