-LADY MADCAP." To-morrow (Friday) evening Mr. J. C. Williamson's New Musical Comedy Company will appear here "in one of the most successful musical comedies that liave recently been staged in London—"Lady Madcap." Since its inception Mr. J. C. Williamson's New Company has played throughout Australia. Many and varied are its experiences, but they are happy in. the knowledge that, without exception, musical comedy is still proving a large factor with the seekers of amusement. Overtlowing houses have been the rule, and throughout the tour it has been one continual series of successes. It is said to be n most ingenious wholesome concoction of fun: one kept in a state of merriment from the "tart to the linish. The author has given the piece distinction. elegance, ami equality of humor thai luus never yet been apparent in a farce-comedy imported from I'.nglaud. Everything in connection with the production will be precisely similar to the Sydney representation of the comedy, and great opportunity offers for lavish display, of which full advantage has been taken.
