ASIATICS IN THE TRANSVAAL.
INDIANS AND CHINESE SENT TO GAOL. Johannesburg, January 21. A score of Indians and Chinese #t Johannesburg have been ordered to quit in a fortnight. An Indian, who was formerly a soldier in the British Army, was Bente«eed to two months' imprisonment for refusing to leave. Eighty hawkers have been sentenced to a fortnight's imprisonment for not holding licenses.
