New York, January 21. Admiral Evans, who m in command of the American fleet now on its way to the Pacific, stated in an interview at Buenos Ayres that he was inclined to believe the report of an anarchist plot to destroy a portion of the fleet was a hoax, without the slightest foundation in fact. ,
