THE AUCKLAND TRAGEDY.
Per l'ress Association. Auckland, J-ast -Xigiit. Ail inquest concerning the death, of Mrs Ada Lydin SkeeU, who committed suicide at her residence at Alt. Albert yesterday, was held afternoon, Frederick William Skeets, husband of deceased, .stated that deceased was a native of Carterton, lie could assign no for her rash act. While they were living at Xe Puke, deceased complained of being lonely, and for that reason they had sold their projierty and came to Auckland to live. Dr. Joues said he had been attending deceased for the past six months, jirst for influenza, which had left traces of mental depression. In his opinion she was mentally deranged when she committed suicide. The jury returned a verdict in accordance with the medical testimony.
