" 1 put it on the pink cushion and it turned pink." " Yes; very good." " I put it on a yellow cushion and it turned yellow." " I put it on a cushion, and it was jnst as grey as your ladyships dress." •'Well, welir "Then (in saddened tone*), 1 put It on a tartan plaid, and it just bust itself."
