At the Hayniarket on Saturday prices for pigs were a little lower than of late, suckers making 4s to 7s, weancrs Us to 12s, small stores 14s. A good, wellbred horse realised £3li; hack, £4 15s, At the mart ducklings made 8d to ty,' ducks Is 4d, hens Is 2d to Is (id, cockerels Is Id, chicks (id to lid, geese 2s 3d. Furniture and sundries sold at ordinate rates.
Fruit—During the past week I have sold over KiOO boxes fruit, tomatoes and Japanese plums being iu heavy supply. Prices have ranged as follows:"—Apples 2s to 3s M, apricots 5s to Bs, peaches 5s to 7s fid. plums 2s to 4s, pears 3s fid,
nectarines 4s fid to 7s, cucumbers Is to 2s (id, tomatoes (Small boxes) Is (id to 3s. Nelson tomatoes 2s to 4s, grapes KM to Is Id.
