NEW ZEALANDERS IN SYDNEY. Received 21st, 12.5 a.m. Sydney, January 20. The New Zealand bowlers opened their tour with a six-rink match against tM City club. The visitors won after a keenly-contested game by 160 to 134. Scores:— New Zealand rinks—Woller, T. Rankin, Hudson, R. Rankin (33) ; McC&llum, Hill, Rasuhs, Harrison (32); Sheldrick, Mills, Mcintosh, Laurie (36); Newburn, Paritt, Miller, Carlow (17); Schnauer, Michaels, Eyre, Handcock (30); Arey, Robert Robertson, Young, Coutts (12). DUNEDIN TOURNAMENT. Dunedin, Last Night. The New Zealand Bowling Association tournament commenced to-day in Splendid weather. Play took place on eight' greens. It commenced at 8.30 a.m., and shortly after 6 p.m. four rounds of the rink tournament had been completed.
