Copra—There is fair business in .South Sea at £l7 10s. New Zealand hemp—The market is steady at about J)s decline. Linseed oil, £25 10s. Wheat—An Australian cargo sold nt 40s. Rabbits—A fair trade is lieing done. Large Sydneys were retailed at 14s to 14s fid, .Melbourne 13s to 13s od. New Zealand extras 15s. Rabbit skills—At the sales 3070 bundles were offered and 2580 sold. Best New Zealand realised high prices, other sorts declining Id. Australians declined V 2 d to Id for best, and l'/,d for other sorts.
I'rozen meat—Mutton: Canterbury is not quotable, as too little is offering; North Island 3Vi<l, best brands 3 (MM. Now Zealand lamb: Canterbury, heavy 5%d, other qualities not quoted; Southland and North Tsland, none offering. New Zealand beef: Ox fores 2 13-lfiil, ox hinds unchanged. River Plate sheen: Heavy 2%d, light 3d. Beef: Ox forep 2%d. hinds unchanged. Wheat and flour—The quantity alloat for the Cnited Kingdom is 3,130,000 quarters; for the Continent 1,140,000 quarters; Atlantic shipments 355,000 quarters; Pacific shipments 240,000 quarters.

Trade is disappointing, there being only a hand-to-mouth demand. Prime light-weight Canterbury mullton is getting very scarce.
