J llUßElii 01 YE NOTICE that on the 17th day of January, 1908, a proposal was submitted by the New Plymouth Borough Council to the Ratepayers of the Borough of New Plymouth for raising a Special Loan of £5200 at a rate of interest not exceeding £5 per annum, with a Sinking Fund of Va P er cent, additional,'tlie loan to be repayable on a period ending the lirst day of October, 1022, and to be for the following purposes: — £5200 to provide additions and extensions to the Electric Lighting either within or without the Borough and to supply electricity; to acquire in connection with such additions and extensions lands casements and appurtenances and buildings engines, machinery, and other things; to pay compensation to any person injuriously affected and any other purposes incidental to or in relation to any of the above purposes.
