PRIMITIVE METHODIST CONFERENCE.
Pey Press Association. 7 a 4 ~ Dunedin, Last Night. At the Primitive Methodist Conference it was resolved to hold the Conference of 1908 in Auckland. A discussion took place on the recommendation of the standing Committee that up to £IOO be expended on costs connected with the exchange of the Rev. P. O. Hurst, of Glasgow, for the Rev. W. Laycock, of Dunedin. It was mentioned that the Rev. Mr: Laycock would leave for England at the end of twelve months. It was decided to accept the exchange without any financial responsibility. Remits fioni a number of districts were considered, and it was resolved that a Sunday school agent be appointed in each district to report annually to the district meeting on the state of schools hj« may have visited, and the following were appointed as agents:—Auckland, Rev. Mr. Moor (senior); Taranaki, Rev. Mr. Varney; Wellington; Rev. Mr. Feltham; Canterbury, Rev. W.Tobbs; Otago and Southland, Rev, H. Guy
