LIONEL TERRY.
SUGGESTED CHANGE OF "RESIDENCE." Per Pre 39 Association. Dunedin, Wednesday. >| When Lionel Terry was re-captured on the occasion of his former escape from the Seaclift Asylum, he told Mr Myers, Deputy-Inspector of Mental Hospitals, that it entirely depended on his health whether he would give the auth* orities another chase, but he would make no promises. He had escaped asj a protest against, the Government's ati titude towards aliens. He had consid-. cred the matter previously for a wholq fortnight. My Myers says that unless Terry will give reasonable assurance that lu iviil abide strictly by the laws of the institution in which he is now confined, he should be secured in another place. He would strongly adivse this course being taken.
