SCULLING.
THE WORLD'S CHAMPIONSHIP. . Per Press Association. Wanganui, Monday. Tressider, on being taken over the Kaiwhoiki course, ten miles above the town, where the race for tho world's sculling championship is to be rowed, expressed complete satisfaction with it. This was endorsed by his trainer, Bain, and his pacemaker, Ford. Bain considers it a far fairer course than that on the Parramatta, and superior in every way. The finish will be threequarters of a mile lower down the river than the finish of the Webb-Stanbury race. There is but one easy turn in three miles, and a mile straight at the finish.
: DATE FIXED. ' / Per Press Association. Wangamii, Last Night. It lias been definitely decided that the match lietween Webb and Tressider for the sculling championship of the world shall take place on the Wangamii river on Tuesday, 25th February.
