The Warrmgah team entertains and plays ihe visitors on the 27th. NORTHK.RX Tot UNAMKNT. CARLTON WINS THE OfiAMI'iOV I SHIP. Per Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. The North Island Rowling Association tournament was continued to-day in fine weather. The final of the "pennant championship was reached, Carlton (Auckland) proving the winners and going right through the contests without a defeat. Carlton, who had defeated Gisbome the previous evening, played Hastings to-day, and won in the aggregate by 46 to 30. Gisborne played Hastings for second place, and Gisborno won in the aggrogate by 34 to 33, thus securing second place in the championship, and Hastings : third.
The prize for the club having the least number of points scored against them was won by Gisborne, but as they were placed in the championship they were ineligible for the prize. According to the conditions. Mount Eden (Auckland) Club won with 318 points ogainst them. Gisborne had only 314. The preliminary heats in the Citizens' Match were contested, and the semifinals will be reached to-morrow. The following won to-day:— Remuera (2), Gisborne, Kelbume, Auckland, Newtown, Feilding, Ponsonby. Wanganui, Palmerston North, Wellington, Thorndon, Mount Erlen, Manaia, Greenmeadows, New Plymouth, Waverlcy, Vic- I toria, Turanganui.
