MOKAU RIVER TRUST.
o (From Our Own Correspondent). The Mokau River Trust .Hoard neld its annual meeting at Mokau on Wednesday evening last. Mr S. NickolU presided, and there were also present Messrs W. T. Jennings, M.V., S. Percy Smith, and A. Kelly, an apology being received on behalf of Mr J. Foreman. The report submitted showed that useful work had been done during the year, and a good plant had been secured for snagging purposes. It was decided to engage expert opinion as to the best course to pursue in improving the river above Maryville coalmines on to Totoro, Mr Jennings being empowered to deal with the matter. The balance-sheet showed £2OB available for the Board's purposes. I
