PROTECTION OF WORKERS.
THE STRUGGLE IN AMERICA. New York, January 8. The United States Appeal Court has by a majority of five to four declared the Employers' Liability Act unconstitutional. The Court explains that Congress exceeded its powers when it imposed a liability upon common carriers in Tespect of injury to their employees. The Labor Party has resolved to agitate for the proper protection of workers.
