FEILDING'S PROGRESS. Veilding, Monday. During last year buildings valued at £20,000 were erected or commenced in the borough of Feilding. Among these are a fine two-story building in brick for the Bank of New Zealand ami a twostory brick building for the Feilding Technical School. THE HINEMOA'S VISIT TO THE KERMADECS. Auckland, Monday. The Government steamer Hinemon returned last evening from her visit to the Kermadecs, where she landed theparty of scientists from New Zealand, which is to remain on the island for twelve months. The depots, which were found intact, were overhauled, and, whore necessary, the contents were renewal. There were great quantities of frui : . principally oranges, growing there, but in places from which it would be almost impossible to ship them. No wreckage was seen at any of the islands called at.
