London, December 2S. Mr Strntham, Hollamby Druce's counsel, stilted before Chancellor Tristram that the opening of the vault was absolutely imnmteviatal. The main issue in Druce's action was agiinst. Howard l)e Waloon, and it did not turn on the question of moek burial, but the. fact whether the fifth Duk,> married Elizabeth Crickner, and whether the marriage w;is valid, bot hbcing under age. Itollainby claims be was descended from that marriage. Whether the Duke of Portland was subsequently guilty of eccentricity, and indulged in a moeli funeral did not affect tile question. llollamby Druce and T. R. Cockburn, solicitor, would like to be. present at the opening of the vault, though lie would be represented by a medical man and surveyor. Herbert Druce he similarly represented. The Daily Mail states the opening of Druce's grave takes place on Monday.
