WAITARA WEST ROAD BOARD.

Ait the usual monthly meeting of the I above Board there were present—Mr 6, , TuriibuU (chairman), Messrs Connatt' Smith, and Yule. Correspondence was read from—Messrs Koy and Wilson re land taken for Kelly road deviation; from Waitara Borough Council, quoting terms for hire of grader; and from the Moa Komi Board, stating they would undertake the expenditure of Davis road loan, and also requesting that a grant be given for repairs to Everett road. Messrs Hemvood and Trimble attended the meeting and requested that the whole of tiie Davis road loanjpe hande'd over to the Moa Roa Board, as the settlers in that district were only raising £IOO, and £2OO would not complete the work.—The Board decided to consult the ratepayers interested re contributing more than £ for £. ■ Messrs Hall.
