CONDITIONS UPON WHICH BOOKMAKERS' LICENSES FOll TIIK CHRISTMAS MEETING, DECEMBER. 20th and 27th, 1007, WILL BE ISSUED. 1. Every applicant for a Bookmaker's License shall, by not later than noon on MONDAY, the 23rd day of December, 1007, forward to the Secretary of the Club a written application for a License, signed by the applicant. The application shall state whether the License is required for the 20th or 27th December, l!) 07, or for both days. 2. Every application shall be accompanied by the prescribed License Fee and satisfactory references as to the fitness of the applicant to hold a Bookmaker's License. 3. The fee for & Bookmaker's License shall bo the sum of £2O for each day of the currency of such License. -1. Each Bookmaker who shall have obtained a Licence shall be entitled to have one other nerson (whether a Bookmaker or not) in attendance upon him at the racecourse to act strictly in the performance of clerical duties only for such Bookmaker without the payment of any additional fee. 5. The position to be occupied on the course by each Bookmaker shall be pointed out to him by an officer of the Club, and no Bookmaker shall carry on business at any other place than that assigned to him. 0.
