XKW ZEALANDERS DEFEATED. Received 21st, 512 p.m. London, December 21. The ground was sodden and slippery for the match against Warrington. The New Zcalanders, playing with n stilf breeze, led at half time by two goals and a try to Warrington's goal and a try. Afterwards, Warrington pressed severely, and eventually scored a try, winning by eight points to seven.
AUSTRALIAN' PROFESSIONAL TEAJI TO VISIT ENGLAND.
Received 22nd, 4.16 p.m. Sydney, December 22. A cable has been received from the Northern Rugby Union inviting, the Australian Rugby League to send a team next year on the same terms as the Xew Zealander* 3 . Tt has been decided to accept the invitation, and the [•team will leave in August.
