ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
Per Press Association. Auckland, Saturday. A single girl of 23 years named Maude Reid was admitted to the hospital last Sunday apparently suffering from phosphorous poisoning caused by eating match heads. She lingered until early this morning, wlnm she died. Her father is a bushman residing at Coromaudel. The' mother resides at OtoroIranga.
Dunedin, Last Night. Advice has been received from the Clyde to the effect that Thomas rafbiter, 25 years of age, was found dead in a hut near Clyde yesterday.
