SLY GROG-SELLING.
Per Press Association. § Auckland, Last Xiglit. At the Police Court this afternoon. ■ ed Crnssey and his wife. Imardiii"-house-keepers, were sentenced to one month and three months' Imprisonment, concurrently, 011 charges or illegally trafficking in intoxicating liquor. "Mrs. Crossey, after the sentence had been passed, pie;, di'<T that she had several children to support, and the Magistrate promised to reconsider her case in the morning. The police then proceeded with nine other charges of sly grogselling against the male defendant,"and he was committed for trial.
