Air. W. .Nixon's moior'car ran penny trips round the grounds iu the afternoon. Xhe following were the stallholders: —l'lain sewing, Alesdames Simuiouds, ]?. Jury, H. Ward, -Uartin, and Edwards; afternoon Lea and supper, Alesdames 11, Gilbert, lloi'Kcr, l'\ Gilbert, Smith, Nixon, Inch, ISunoi, O'Driscoll; sweets, Airs. iN'ewell and Aliss Potts; Christinas tree, Alesdames Cock and Gardiner, Alisses Alyuoti and i\ U'Brieu.
Owing to counter-attractions, the attendance in the afternoon was hardly up lu expectations, but in the evening the richooi was crowded with visitors. The Harrison Bund played a programme ot nuusie outside the school. The committee desire to acknowledge the following donations:—To the prize fund) .Messrs. J. B. Boy and U. TiscJi 10?s each. The committee also thanks Mr. Lepine for having collected the funds for the volunteer trophies. Apologies for absence from yesterday's /unctions were received from Colonel Okey, the Mayor of .New Plymouth (Mr. Dockrill), Messrs, Pridhain, Browne, and MacDiarmid. Mr. (.1.
