TAKANAKI WOOL, SKIN, HIDE, AND TALLOW ,SALES. Mil. NEWTON KING'S REPORT.
On Tuesday, 10th instant, I held my four-weekly sale. The catalogue comprised 3G21 calfskins, 1300 sheepskins, 804 hides, 30 bales and 125 bays of wool, 13 casks and 21 tins tallow, and the usual assortment of bones, cowtails, horsehair, horns, etc.
The value for all classes of produce suffered a decline, and this mas most marked in hides anil calfskins. Interior hides ami calfskin* ure almost unsaleable. 1 regret that farmers will lind their account sales to be disappointing.
