ADDiNIiToN STOCK MARKET. Christchurch, Decemeber 11. At Addington live stock market today then- «as a fairly large entry of -tock. and a good attendance. Fat cattle, except very prime, were a shade ca-ier. Fat lambs were barely up to last week'* rates, and store sheep met with a limited demand. The entry of .-tore -lieep was larger than last week, liut the <|iiality was nut very good, and, in consequence of the contined dry weather, the demand was limited, and a niimlier of lots were pasted in. The yarding of fat lambs was the largest this season, the quality, on the whole, licing g""d. There was a fair demand for export, though competition was not keen, and prices were barely up to last week'- rates.

DI"XKI)TN STOCK MARKET. Dunedin, December 11. At Bnrnside stock market 2000 sheep were penned, the quality of which was fair. Prices showed a decline of 1* per head on last week's rates. Best wethers. 21s to 22s 3d; extra, to 23s fid; medium, 20s to 2N 0,1; inferior. 17s Od to 18s Od; best ewes, 18s to 20s Od; medium, 17s to 10-; inferior. 13s to 14*. Lambs —350 penned. Be-t. 10- Od to 17s fid; medium, 15s to lfis; inferior, lis to 13s SdPigs—l2o yarded. There was medium sale, and prices for young pigs were up 2s per head, whilst porkers and baeoners were slightly firmer than last week. Suckers. 10s Od to 20s; slips. 22s to 275; stores, 33s to 355: porkers, 3Ss to 455; light baeoners, 48a to 535; heavy, 55s to Oos. Cattle—lo2 yarded, the quality being good. There was good demand, and prices showed an advance of 10s per head. Best bullocks. £lO 10s to £l2 10s; extra, up to £l3; medium, £9 to £10; best cows and heifers, £7 to £8 los; medium, ,£(! to £0 10s.

In comparison to the decline in wool in London and New Zealand wool marlets, we were satisfied at tlic prices obtained at yesterday's sale. Buyers representing Home manufacturers were present, and full rates were obtained, ('■wing to the unsettled state of financial circles at Home, we would strongly adu',e growers to consider the advisability of accepting the present prices offering rather than risking the- Londoi markets.
