Vigorous is also the grandsire of that celebrated hackney, Hedon Squire (14306), the property of Sir Walter Giltey, Bart. This famous hackney, besides winning innumerable firsts, championships, gold medals, and challenge cups at the principal horse shows in Europe, scored such phenomenal success at the Paris International Horse Show in 1000, whore, besides winning 3 gold medals, 7500 francs in prizes, and being first and champion of his class, lie was awarded the Grand Championship for the best horse at the Show, all classes and breeds included.
