Scoured sold at 10 per cent, loner, short faulty 10 to 15 per cent, lower, crossbred slipes 3 to 10 per cent, lower, poor conditioned parcels 10 per cent, lower, best lambs ~i per cent. lower, faulty 7'/. to 10 per cent, lower.

December 11th:—'The wool sales have closed, and the market irregular and unsettled. On account of the money market being exceedingly stringent, buyers will not buv more than is absolutely necessary, and'competition is slight. The estimated vilues are as follows:—Fine erossbreds (all grades) Is to Is 3d. medium erossbreds (all grades) Od to ll%d. coarse erossbreds (all grades) Mto 10'/,d. superior merino (all grades) Is to Is 3d, medium merino (al grades) 10i/ 2 d to Is S i/,d, inferior merino (all grades) 7d to lOd.
