provinces. Frozen meat—The Frozen Heat Trade Association's Sinithfield market quotations for the undermentioned classes of frozen meat, based on actual sales of not less than 100 carcase* of mutton or lamb or 25 carcases of beef of fair average quality are appended. (These quotations are not for selected lines, but for parcels fairly representative of the bulk of the shipments now on the market) : Mutton: Canterbury unchanged, Xorth Island, 55-Gslb, best 3 3-lGd, others unchanged. London, December 8. At the wool sales yesterday only in•ior erossbreds were offered. Prices r merinos arc unchanged. The sales
included the fleece portion of the Pareora clip, which realised ll'/ 2 d. To date 70.201 i bales have been offered, anil 31,132 bales sold.

DAIRY PRODUCE REPORT. E. Griffiths and Co.. dairy produce exporters, .New Plymouth, are in receipt of the following market report from their London principals, Messrs. Mills and Sparrow, dated October 25, 1907: Butter—Weather is very mild for the time of the year. There have been occasional heavy rains and a fair amount of sunshine in some districts.
Cheese—The high prices somewhat checked the demand. We think this i* onlv temporarv. As we mentioned l\*\ week. Canadian cheese is pretty strongly held, and a hard fiVjlit will lie made liefore there is much giving way in price. New Zealand—Bujvrs are enquiring, and we liope protty lilieral shipments will lie made early in the season.
