PROPOSED SPECIAL LOAN OF £5200. rpHE Council of Hie Borough of New Plymouth hereby gives Public Noow by way of £5200 at _ - -ding £5 per annum, with 11 Sinking Fund of % per cent, additional, the loan to be able on a period ending the first u «j ul October, 1922, and to be for the following purposes:— £5200 to provide additions and extensions to the Electric LightJ ing either within or without the Borough and to supply electricity; to acquire in connection with such additions and extensions lands easements and appurtenances and buildin gines machinery and things; to pay compensation to any person injuriously affected and any other purposes incidental to or in relation to any of the above purposes. THE COUNCIL proposes to pledge as a security for the loan of £5200 and the interest thereon an annually recurring Special Rate of IVSjd in the £ on the rateable value (on the basis of the nnnual value) of all rateable property within the Borough and its revenues, rents, tolls, issues, and profits with the exception of all land taken acquired or used for public abattoir and all buildings erections structures and appurtenances now or hereafter "■— L belonging and the i( rents, tolls and profits therefrom and also excepting moneys received or receivable by way of grant from the Government.
