DIIL'CE'S DOCTOR INTERVIEWED.
Received Dec. 8, 4.18 p.m. London, December 7. Marks testified that lie last saw Drucc on the afternoon prior to seeing the eollin. He heard Druce died suddenly, and never heard of any mystery connected with the death. He saw Herbert Drucc at the Bazaar constantly after the funeral. He saw a hearae and two empty coaches leave the Bazaar with a eollin. Charles Ball, a tailor, deposed that the lapels of the coat m Druce's portrait were like those on the Duke of
Portland's coat. The Duke's coats were always made in sets of three, enabling | him to wear one over anothei. Edmund Shaw, a Soutiiporfc doctor, informed the Daily News that he was a, personal friend and neighbor of Druce at Milliill, and medically attended liim throughout 18C4 for dyspepsia. _ Druce underwent a serious operation in September of that year. Dr. Shaw says he say him thrice daily until the night of 27th December, when he left him dying. Very early on the 28tli he was summoned to the bedside, and found Druce
had just died. He gave a certificate of death and assisted a nurse to lay out the body. He subsequently attended the funeral at Highgate. There were a dozen mourning coaches. He never
saw signs of skin disease on Druce's fnco. He wore a natural dark beard and side whiskers. Dr. Shaw went from New Zealand to Tamania, settling in Southport in 1867. THE RIVAL CLAIMANT COMPANY. Mr. Justice Joyce dealt with the apdetention of the new DruCc-Portland Company for an injunction to restrain lllakeston and Captain Hall, ex-directors from parting with any moneys. He made an order directing the company not to part, without the Court's permission, with any portion of the £300( or £4OOO subscribed.
