The Hon. J. A. Millar left Wellington for the South uy the Jlaori last night. | Jlr. Cyril Towsey, of Wellington, and Miss Irene Ainsiey, of Auckland, took part in a concert given in the Aeolian Hall, London, on October 23rd, in aid of the National Society of Day Nurseries. At a meeting of the Professorial Board of the Auckland University yesterday Solomon. Netheim Zenian, B.Sc., was nominated for the Rhodes Scholarship. He was born in 18S0 at Wellington, where he attended the Clyde Quay school, coming to Auckland in 1307, where he won a Junior Foundation Scholarship.—Press Wire.
