JAPANESE IMMIGRATION.
NO UNFRIENDLINESS WITH AMERICA. Washington, December 4. The Japanese Ambassador Aoki, who hnu been recalled to Tokio to discuss the immigration question, states that his return to Japan does not indicate unfriendliness towards America. _ The immigration problem, he says, ie not serious, and will be settled satisfactorily.
CONSOLIDATION OF COMPANIES. JAPAN'S DETERMINATION. Received December 5, 10.45 p.m. Tokio, December 5. At a conference the various emigration agencies decided to consolidate into one company. Count Hayaslii, addressing the conference, declared that it was necessary to regulate emigration, which Japan was determined to control.
