The annual picnic in connection with the local Wesleyan Sunday School took place on Wednesday last in the school grounds, and proved most enjoyable. There was a large attendance of children and adults, the former of whom enjoyed themselves thoroughly in lime-honoured games and races, whilst the latter had their time fully occupied in attending to the commissariat department. In the evening the social and presentation of prizes took place, and was equally well attended. Rev. Worboys occupied the chair and presented the prizes to the successful ones. Mr. A.
