YOUTHFUL HOUSEBREAKERS.
P«r Press Association. Gisborne, Monday. In the Juvenile Court this morning, two boy o', 0 ', one aged twelve and the other ten, were brougnt before the Magistrate on eight charges of breaking and entering shops in town, in one case the boys admitted having taken £lO, most of which they threw in the river. The boy# had hidden fifty-two keys taken from various premises. Detective Maddcrn staled that the boys had been reading "Deadwood Dick" trash, to which heattributed the crimes. The boys are of I respectable parentage and have good homes, but they have got beyond control. J. lie parents pleaded that the boys should be given another chance. The Magistrate remanded them that he might ascertain the amount Appropriated. F
