SATISFACTORY SCIENTIFIC RESULTS. Per Press Association. Christcliurch, Last Night. The Northern members of the subAntarctic expedition arrived in Chriutehurch to-night, and are unanimously of opinion that the scientific results are entirely satisfactory. They took a large number of photographs of the islands dealing with plant and animal life, also views of the islands, but it is feared that the adverse weather conditions which prevailed will considerably affect the plates and they will turn out badly. Dr. Cockayne proceeds to Wellington to-morrow en route for Kapiti Island, where be will liberate a number of birds captured on the .southern islands.
