Woolly made 27s Oil, best shorn wethers 18s Id to 21s !)d, extra 24s 3d, lighter 10s lid to 17s Gd; best shorn ewes 10s to 20s. extra 21s (id, others 13s to 15s (id. The yarding of fat cattle totalled 302. With a few exceptions, the quality was medium. Steers brought .€7 7s Gd to £l2, heifers £5 7s (id to £lO 15s, cows, £4 lis to £0 12s Gd, equal to 25a to 27s Oil for prime and 20s to 24s for medium per 1001b. Veal calves sold at 4s Gd to £3 Is. and small down to Is Od.

AUCKLAND REPORT. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency report that heavy draughts sold at from .£25 to £4O lUs; medium do, £23 10s to £3O. A draft of 14 three- year - old unbroken medium draughts from Okahukura averaged £3O Is. A spring-cart realised £lO and a waggon £24. Cattle—Dairy cows sold at from £3 10s to £0 15s; empty do, £2 2s to £3 14s; calves, £1 Is to £1 Vte. The beef pens were well filled, and, although no extra heavy weights were yarded, the quality was good. Oxen of first quality Sold at 24s per 1001b; second do, 20s to 23s j and cow*, 10s to 225. Steel's sold at from £0 lo.s to £ll 12s Od; cows £3 10s to £8 ss. Sheep-Wethers realised from 18s 0d to CI !)s; ewes. 17s to £1 4s; hoggets, 12s (id to His Od. Lambs were yarded in larger numbers than for many weeks, and well-fatted sorts sold at trom lis Od to £1 0s 3d; other sorts, Ss to 12s.
