MASONIC.

The installation of Bro. John Jones as W.M. of Lodge Ngamotu touk place in the Lodgeroom, St. Mary's Hall, last evening. There was a very large attendance, visiting brethren being present from all the lodges in the Tarauaki district, as well as from outside lodges. Right Wor. Bio. F. V. Corkill (Grand Superintendent of Taranaki) was Installing Master. The W.M. then invested his ollieers for the ensuing year as follows: Medley; S.W., Bro. L. C. gladden; J.W., Bro. J. E. Wilson; Treasurer, Bro. C. M. Lcpper; Secretary, Wor. Bro. W. H. lladdrell, P.M.; Director of Ceremonies, Wor. Bro. F. E. Wilson, P.M.; Chaplain, Wor. Bro. 11. W. Hawkins, P.M.; S.D., Bro. G. T. Murray; J.D., Bro. R. L. Mcllroy; 1.G., Bro. W. N. Ewing; S.S., Bro. E. W. Gamer; J.S., Bro. F. S. Johns; Tyler, Wor. Bro. J. Asher, P.M. At the conclusion of the meeting a pleacsant hour or two was spent in harmony. The annual installation and investiture of ollieers of Lodge Ikaroa, No. 115, took place in the Lodgeroom, Rahotu, on 21st November, when Bro. James Garcia was installed as W.M. and .placed in the chair according to ancient .custom. R.W. Bro. F. P. Corkill (Grand Superintendent of Taranaki) was the Installing Master. The following officers for the year were then invested:— 1.P.M., Wor. Bro. W. K, Francis; S.W., Bro. J. Young; 3.W ., Bro. F. Carter; Treasurer, Wor. Bro. T. Hickman; Secretary, Wor. Bro. G. P. Armstrong; ".C, Wor. Bro. W. Chambers; S.D., Bro. F. Martin; J.D., Bro. C. Sorrenson; 1.G., Bro. A. E. Crumley; Tyler, Bro. F. West; Stewards, Bros. J. Clare and C. H. King. There were a number of visiting brethren present from various lodges in Taranaki, and a very pleasant function was terminated by participating in refreshments and harmony.
