FEILDING RACES. REGULATIONS FOR BOOKMAKERS. Per Press Association. Feilding, Last Night. The Feilding Jockey Club held a lengthy meeting this afternoon, the problem being the solution of the bookmakers' difficulty. Ultimately it was resolved to license bookmakers under the maximum fee of £2O per day and restrictive conditions, which include the quarantining of bookmakers within special enclosures set, apart inside and | outside the course. There is a large I crowd of bookmakers in Feilding for the races to-morrow and Saturday, but no applications for licenses have yet been received under the new conditions.

(By "Moluroa.") Feilding races to-day and to-morrow. The Hon. J. D. Ormond will be represented at the Feilding meeting by Eonn, Ox-ton, Marlyriuni, and Wallasey. Oxtun and Moriarty left Hastings by special train yesterday to fulfil their engagements at the same meeting. It is said that H. flickcy, who trains Kaipetipeti, calls the horse- "The Pet," for short. Mr. J. Prosser has taken William and
Toitoko to Feilding. The latter is by btcpniak—Whirlpool, and is engaged in the Maiden on the second clay. Kx-Maorilander L. H. Hewitt left England last month for India, where he hopes to take part in the Viceroy's Cup meeting, which opens at Calcutta on Boxing Day. Rillcmaid is stated to be a greatly improved mare. The New Zealand Times is responsible /or the statement that Saga is a certain starter in the Aorangi Hack Race. Those who did not see the New Zealand Cup winner 'Frisco run at Canterbury will have an opportunity of seeing him gallop to-day at Feilding. There is no truth in the rumor that Wallasey is to be taken to Australia. Sir George Clifford won the Feilding Stakes last year with (JlencuHoch. He is represented by Fleetfoot to-day. Moata will not fulfil his Feilding engagements. The stake for the Kiwitea Welter has been increased to 200 govs. The sprinters are well catered for at this meeting. Equiform, liy Multiform—Strcsn, won his first race in Australia on the 16th inst., when lie annexed the Rosstown Plate of 150 sovs, run over six furlongs.
