SYDNEY WOOL SALES. A BETTEE TONE. Received 27th, 0.5G a.m. Sydney, November 2C. At the wool sales to-day prices were brisker, showing a gradu'al all-round improvement, HIDE AND SKL\ T REPORT. Dnlgety and Company report ha vino held their usual fortnightly sale of skins and hides on 21st instant. The buyers were present in usual force, but competition was lacking in spirit. the catalogue comprised some very nice mes of skins and hides, and prices 'il all descriptions showed an easier tendency, particularly in calf skins. Ihe ruling quotations were as follows: bliccpskms—Fine crossbred, 8d to 854 a; medium crossbreds, 7>/,d to 7%d----coarse crossbred*, 6%d to 7>/ 4 d; dead, ■>/ 2 <l to 054 d; inferior and broken, 5V,d to Od; pelts, 4,1 to 4</ a d ; crossbred, green, 7s 2d to Ba.
