SUICIDES IN AMERICA.
. AFTERMATH OF THE MONEY PANIC. 1 Received Nov. 25, 11.40 p.m. New York, November 25. Lieutenant Crawford, Admiral Dewey's secretary, committed suicide in the Potomac river owing to losses through the banking crisis. A woman named Smith, who similarly lost £400,000, shot her husband and herself and set fire to the house after saturating the rooms with kerosene. Both .are dead.
