A man named Herbert Bell, employed at Kirkcaldie and Stains', Napier, while riding a motor bicycle, ran into a fence at a curve near the railway station, lie received a deep cut over the left ear and had a wound in the thigh. He was insensible when picked up. Ho will take some weeks to recover. Nelson, Last Night. A trap occupied by Mr. T. M. Urant, chief draughtsman, and Mr. Fairhall, surveyor of the lands Department at Nelson, capsized when crossing the Matakitaki river on Sunday. Grant suffered a fracture of the leg, and Fairhall a severe shaking. They were taken to Murchison for medical attention.
