PARLIAMENT PROROGUED. Per Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. In the Council, which resumed nt ■2.30 p.m., the Appropriation Bill was put through all its stages, and the Council Ilnully adjourned at 5.35 p.m. In the House, which resumed at 3 p.m. to await receipt of the Appropriation Bill from the Council, an amendment to the Factories Act Amendment Bill providing for the striking out of clauses 12 and It), relating to the employment of Chinese and Asiatics in factories and laundries, was brought down by (iovernor's . message. The amendment was agreed to. The Appropriation Hill was received ftnin the Council at 5.10 p.m. The Speaker, having proceeded to the (iovernor for assent to the Bill, returned at 5.30, and.read the list of Bills passed during the session. IThe usual valedictory speeches were made, and the House finally adjourned at 5.55 p.m.
