NEWtfON KING'S WEEKLY AUCTION REPORT. At the Haymavket on Saturday only a few pigs came f orwanr,* but good prices were realised, small stores making 12s to 17s; porkers, 2!is to 31s; horses, £3 to .€4 7s Od.

At the mart there was a fair entry of poultry, and good demand. Ducks made 2s Id to 2s 3d; ducklings, Is to is (id: hens, 2s to 2s 8d; roosters, 2s 4d: chicks, 8d to Is.

j Furniture and sundries sold at prices in favour of purchasers. Fruit.—On Wednesday green peas made Is to Is Id; new potatoes, 2%d; bananas, lite to 12s. Cattle.—At Stratford on Tuesday there was a big yarding of both store and dairy cattle. Bidding was not quite as brisk as the previous sale, but all stock of good quality sold well. In the dairy liens the majority of heifers were small and wanting in condition. Prices for these ruled low, but well-grown and good-conditioned sorts sold readily at j satisfactory prices.

I In the store yards mixed yearlings made 375: steers do, 40s to 49s fid; 2</ s yrs well-bred steers £4 15s; 12 to 18 months heifers, 35s to 445; yearling do, 24s to 20s Od; store cows, 2(is to 48s; forward do. £2 17s to £3 ss; bulls, £3 to €4 ss.

In the dairy pens springing heifers made £2 5s to £3 15s for small and inferior sorts: better grown and good quality made £4 10s to £0 15s.

L. A. NOLAN AND CO.'S REPORT. Messrs. L. A. Nolan and Co. report for the week ending Saturday, 23rd November:

Wc had a fair average entry of poultry last Saturday. The prices were about equal to last week. Several consignment of strawberries came forward, which were quitted at satisfactorv prhw. We quote:—Hens , Is 8d to 2s; roosters, Is to Is (id; ducks, Is 9d to ! 2s; ducklings, Is 9d to Is lid; geese, 2s to 2s «d. Pineapples, lis Od to 13s; bananas, good, lis to 13s.

YICKERS AND STEVENS 7 REPORT.
