ADVOCATES RKUN'JUISH THEIR BRIEF. Rome, Xovember 21. At the trial of Signor Nuuzio Nasi, tin- ex-Minister, on charges of corruption, his advocates tried to obtain permission to examiae the budgets of all Ministries with a view to rebutting the charges of exaggerated personal expenditure.

After a stormy scene the advocates relinquished their brief, as a protest against what they described as the injudicial attitude of the Senate.
