His dam, Vanity, is by Vigorous (1215 E.H.5.8.) out of Lonely (648 E.H.5.8.). Vigorous is also the grandsire of that celebrated hackney, Hedon Squire (14306), the property of- Sir Walter Gilbey, Bart.
