METHODIST SYNOD.
Per Press Association. Balelutha, Last Night. The Otago Methodist Synod met this morning in pastoral session. The Revs. A. Mcßean and N, H. Papakura were recommended for ordination. The Revs. A. C. Sanderson, M.A., and R. A. Wylie passed in their years. Mr. J. Winiata was recommended for a year's training in the Three Kings College with a viow to his becoming a candidate for the native ministry.
