WHAT'S WANTED is a very supcrioi jvell-bred colt, 0 yews old, of the verv best quality and true type of the Clydesdale breed, standing 1G hands 2 inches high, on short legs. He is a very massive horse, with clean, flat bones, strong and well-formed joints, beautiful silky hair, and feet of good quality. He has a beautiful head, ncclc, and erest, well-sprung ribs, and strong, short-coupled back. Altogether, he is a most compactly built, well-put-togcther specimen ot a Clydesdale horse. WHAT'S WANTED as a ycarlin, gained first prize at the Egmont A. and P. Society's Show, and first prize as >. two-year-old at the Taranaki Metropolitan Show. His sire, Armadale, was got by that celebrated breeding arid show-ring sire Glengyle, out of the line breeding mare Nancy, who was shown until la years of age, and was never beaten in her class. She won nine first and four champion prizes. Duchess of Alexander's gr. dam, Jenny, was one of the best draught mares ever bred or imported to the colony, being dam of the New Zealand and Australir champion marc, Flower of Balmoral. llis dam, Duchess of Alexandra, was a most successful prize-winner, having gained the following prizes, viz.: First and champion at Tapanui ('South Island) as a two-year-old. .First prize at Egmont A. and P. Society's Show. First and champion at Wanganui. First and champion at Taranaki. I'irst prize as brood mare and champion prize as best draught mare 01- filly at Taranaki Metropolitan Show.
